Can you help select the right options?
Yes, at Hard Candi Events our experienced team will help you plan the best package for your event or wedding. We are a very versatile and have a raft of talented musicians , vocalists and performers. We can offer you various different live music line up options, themes etc., as well as extra additions. We can for you create a fully bespoke all day music package including Solo Singer, Acoustic Duo, Live DJ and much more. What equipment do you provide?
Hard Candi Events provide a full PA system, stage lighting and all musical equipment for each show and set up. For bookings which include extras with the Band such as Professional DJ package additional equipment such as DJ lighting is included.
Do we need to provide anything?
We provide much of the equipment. We have various requirements dependant on the booking. For example: A standard band booking we require free parking for band vehicles, a clean dry changing room and access to the buffet, soft drinks. 2 x 13amp plug sockets and a flat, level performance space of 3 x 4 m minimum.
How many people does your PA system cover?
Hard Candi Events have invested heavily in top of the range equipment providing you with the best sound in the business. Our standard PA covers up to 350 guests. For large events requiring a full set up we can provide a larger PA and production if required, including staging, star Cloths and lighting for an additional fee.
My venue has a noise limiter, can the band still play?
Yes, Hard Candi Events have played many venues with noise limiters in place comfortably for settings as low as 95/100db (depending on limiter proximity to the band and sensitivity). For anything less that this we recommend booking one of our unplugged/acoustic options.
What happens when I make a booking?
Once a booking is received a deposit is paid to secure the booking. We confirm in writing the details of your booking and a detailed contract is sent to you.
Will you be in contact before the event?
Once you have made the booking, we will confirm everything in writing. Following that we will be in touch approx 4 weeks before your event, wedding or party. At this point we discuss timings and any final questions you may have about the band and arrangements for your event. We know that planning an event or wedding can be stressful but with an abundance of experience at events and weddings we hope to put your mind at ease so that you can concentrate on having a wonderful time. Hard Candi Events absolutely love their job and look forward to providing you and your guests with great live music entertainment.
When is the full payment due?
Full payment is due no later than 30 days prior to the date of the event. If the payment is not received in full Hard Candi Events reserve the right to cancel the contract without penalty.
What if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel a booking cancellation fees applies dependent on the notice given. If a cancellation is made 60 days or less before an event Full Balance Fee is due. (Full cancellation details are in our contract).
